In an effort to promote the 24 separate cities that comprise Pinellas County, Florida as a destination for film, TV, and digital content creation, and as the St. Pete-Clearwater Film Commission's Creative Producer, I proposed designing and publishing a photography coffee table style book the Film Commissioner could utilize as a creative asset when meeting with film and TV producers at trade shows, film festivals, or during one-on-one meetings.
The goal was to gather the initial photography assets from an extensive database, selecting photos that best captured the beauty and wonder the cities of Pinellas County, Florida offers. To compliment the gorgeous photography, copy regarding interesting facts and historical information about particular areas were written throughout the book to both captivate and lure film and TV production companies to shoot their next projects in St. Pete-Clearwater.
Upon printing and publishing, the 14-inch by 9.6-inch perfect bound book was distributed to the Florida State Film Commission and was read in national, statewide, and international film festivals and industry tradeshows. As an added bonus, I produced a digital video version of the printed book that was displayed on multiple video screens at industry tradeshows like LGMI and foreign film festivals like the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, and the Berlin Film Festival in Germany.
